Words can't even describe what a sweet, loving, bundle of joy Sally is. Sally is a 2 to 5 year old Cocker Spaniel/ German Shepherd mix. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever family to find her! Sally is a very laid back, quiet pup. Her foster mom says if she didn't see Sally, she wouldn't know she was there because she is so quiet. Sally loves toys, playing, and running around outside, but loves being with her human more than anything else! She is a very gentle girl and would do fine in a house with children of all ages. Sally likes other dogs but isn't really interested in playing rough with them. She is fearful of storms and would love a forever human to comfort her and make her feel safe. Sally's adoption fee is $175. This includes her deworming, DHPP and rabies vaccines, heartworm test and preventive (through date of adoption), flea and tick preventive (through date of adoption), spay, and microchip. Check back soon for updated photos of this beauty!! For more information regarding Sally, contact us via email at email@example.com (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-04-01-00091Jax ($25 adoption fee) (male)|
Arrival date March 22, 2017 (2 yrs old at intake) Mild heartworm. Treatment to begin Apr and can go home once it is complete. Jax is a pekingese/spaniel mix with amber eyes that seem to always hold a look of sadness. He was pulled from Animal Control after being relinquished from an older owner who was unable to physically care for him and keep him safe. He has a gentle spirit which is grateful for attention and especially of caressing touch. He is still quite confused and uncertain about the changes in his life and will keep his fluffy tail tucked between his legs until he is able to relax. Our newly launched website http://smithgallhumanesociety.org/ has all info regarding adoption polices and procedures under tab 'All Adoptable Animals'. Please read them before applying. A fill-able application form under same tab can be completed and submitted online. All of our residents require an adopter approval process as we strive to place them in homes which will meet their needs and keep them safe. We do not ship nor transport our residents. Approved adopters must come to the shelter to accompany their new family member on the journey home. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a 'No kill' shelter which provides quality care and the medical services of spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and monthly heart worm prevention treatment for dogs. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Animals are primarily owner relinquished. The facility usually is operating at full capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Contact or visit CSHS, 4823 Helen Hwy. 75N, Sautee, GA 30571, phone: 706-865-4135 email: firstname.lastname@example.org . The shelter is located 4 miles south of the alpine town of Helen in the NE Georgia mountains. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-03-17-00194Carlos (male)|
Carlos is an 11 year old brown Cocker Spaniel. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old and is a family dog. I am recently divorced and am not able to care for him or spend the time with that he deserves. He is a very loving and very good with kids. He is and inside dog and is house trained. His expenses are around $110 per month not including vet visits. $50 for grooming and $60 for food per month. He has only eaten Royal Canine food his entire life. Other foods cause him to have diarahea. I want him to go to someone who can afford to take care of him and spend plenty of time with him. Any other question feel free to ask. He is a great dog. Ill put some pictures up soon. Thanks. (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
