Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hershey is a 12 pound ten week old cocker spaniel mix. His dad was possibly a lab as he will probably be a little larger than a cocker by his current size. He is very clever though and extremely well socialized. He is coming along fine with house training, but will need follow up work with his big boy skills. He gets along well with children and other dogs. We do not have him around cats, but no behavior problems have been noticed. He seems to love to cuddle and play for the most part. He does have beautiful green eyes. If you are interested in adopting Hershey, please go to brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.weebly.com and fill out an ... Rescue Me ID: 14-04-02-00332Buddy (male)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Buddy isn't the type of dog CLPR would normally bring into rescue but he needed our help and we just couldn't say 'no' to those beautiful brown eyes. Buddy is a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel mix, estimated at being 7 years old and has had a pretty rough life from what we can tell. He came to us emaciated, with stomach issues, dry skin, a brittle coat and very little house manners - it appears as though he's been an outside dog previous to coming on board with Country Livin'. Buddy has made great progress since his initial days in rescue. He is slowly putting on weight, has been on a good quality dog food diet which has cleared up his ... (Read More)stomach problems, dry skin and brittle coat and he's been quite successful learning to be a house dog. It appears as though Buddy didn't get much in the form of human contact in his previous life so he's a bit standoffish when he first encounters someone new but it doesn't take him long to come around and once you've gained his trust, you're friends for life in his eyes. He is heartworm negative, is now crate trained, enjoys riding in the car, is housebroken, is the size of a Cocker with the look of a Golden, he does need work with leash training and could use some basic obedience training - he doesn't have major issues with obedience but additional training will help him come when called. With a slow introduction, Buddy accepts other dogs - he does better with submissive dogs and even better with submissive females. Buddy would love to have a home of his own so he could enjoy being part of a real family. Could you be that family. Adoption Fee: $250 - Fully Vetted, Neutered, Etc (Less)

Cocker Spaniel    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs Vaccinations

Boscoe is a chocolate male that is almost 4. I actually have 2 cocker spaniels that need a home. The other is Murphie, a white with red spots. I would prefer to keep them together and remain in contact. I have children that love our dogs but we are not home enough to give them the attention they need. They are crate trained and don't have much free time to roam the house as we are never here.

Dash is a sweet young boy. He is very playful and loves to be around of people. He is great with cats and other dogs. Only problem with him is that he can jump a fence. The foster home he is in doesn't have a fence tall enough in the yard and he can clear 4 ft. easy... He has lots of energy and loves to play, run and goof around. Great addition to a family!!!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Cocker Spaniel in Georgia
Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
