Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Nampa ID Will you be my cuddle buddy? Buddy is a 10 year old loving cocker spaniel. He is an easy going, gentle and loving companion. Everyone who meets this boy just loves how sweet, mellow and friendly he is. Buddy came to Fuzzy Pawz a hot mess. He had a very severe case of Pancreatitis which took a while to clear up. He also had glaucoma in his left eye; it was very painful for him so Fuzzy Pawz had it removed. He is now healthy, happy and oh so ready to find his forever home! Buddy is house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a dream rider in the car; just curls up and goes to sleep. Buddy does not ... (Read More)seem interested in toys. Buddy is great with cats and other dogs; although he prefers easy going dogs. He lives with three senior dogs in his foster home and just enjoys hanging out. Buddy is completely deaf, but does well in a fenced yard or on a leash. Due to Buddy being deaf, he is not safe off leash unless in a fenced area. He has learned a few hand signals in his foster home: come, no and sit. Buddy loves to follow his foster Mom around the house and then take a nap on the dog bed near her. He is an easy going and loving companion. Buddy currently lives with a person in a wheelchair in his foster home and it does not bother him at all; in fact he loves to sleep next to the wheelchair. Being deaf, he does not always know when his foster Dad is moving around; but a gentle touch will get Buddy to look around and move out of the way if needed. Due to only having one eye and being deaf, Buddy can sometimes be startled easily. We recommend kids over 12 for this reason. If you are looking for a calm, quiet companion Buddy just may be your guy! If you would like to meet this wonderful boy please fill out an adoption application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Buddy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped There is a $50 adoption fee for him. **Note photos were taken before Buddy had his eye removed. Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Cricket is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her previous owner moved across the country and could not take all of her animals with her. She's a spunky senior (believed to be about 14 years young) that was in a house with two other dogs, three cats and four kids (the youngest was 6 years old when they got her). She does good with my dogs except she likes to sneak toys away from my smallest. She does love to eat so she'd need someone that would monitor her food so she doesn't over eat. She hops around happily when she knows I'm about to put her food dish down. She was crate trained with her prior owner. There was one potty ... (Read More)accident when very first took her in but with the help of my dogs she learned how to use a dog door quickly and loved to be outside. She likes playing with toys, does know how to sit and she minds well. I would love to see her find a home that has kids she could play gently and cuddle with. (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children.
