Rescue Me ID: 14-06-29-00282Kacey (male)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected,
 Fearful/Anxious

Kacey is the world's sweetest dog...after he warms up to you. This has been his problem over and over. People don't understand that they can't just approach and pet him right away. He gets scared and, if they pursue, he will snap at them out of fear. However, give him a couple of days and you'll be delighted by his sweet and playful personality. He does well with most dogs (needs to warm up to them first) but would do best in a home without children. He absolutely loves car rides, walks, playing ball, and chasing bugs. Very snuggly and obedient (housebroken and knows how to sit). Would be a perfect companion for someone who is willing to ... Cocker Spaniel    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! My name is Chip and I am a Cocker Spaniel that will be 13 years old in August. Don't count me out just because I am a 'senior'. I may have some bumps and lumps that come with old age, but I am in very good health and I still have lots of energy. I make runs through the yard multiple times a day, sniffing, exploring, and checking out everything that is going on. I LOVE going on walks! I get along well with other dogs and have quickly adjusted to my new foster pack. I am excellent with my human foster brother - he likes to pet me, and since he is still learning to walk, has accidently fallen on me a few times and when that happens, ... (Read More)I just give him kisses. Sometimes I will come up to you if I want a good scratch or some affection, but much of the time I just like to follow the pack or hang out in whatever room my foster family is in. My tail is always wagging and I just like to go with the flow of things. I quickly adjusted to my foster home and my foster mom says I am a real sweetheart and deserve a nice home where I can go on walks and relax on a nice fluffy dog bed with my new family. If you want a laid back companion then I am the dog for you! Please submit your adoption application today and once your are approved to adopt, you can come meet me in my foster home. I'm neutered, UTD on all vaccines, HW, and FT. RPSM recommends children 8 years and older. I will require a fenced in yard, either physical or underground. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application. My adoption fee is $25. (Less)
