Rescue Me ID: 17-03-28-00493Sadie (female)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Sadie is looking for a home and family that is perfectly fit for her. Here's a little bit about her'| Located in: Troy, Mi Breed: Golden Retriever; Lab Cocker-Spaniel Mix Age: 3.5 years old Health: Up-to-date with vaccinations Basic Commands: Sit, Stay, Roll-Over. Current Brand of Food: Canidae Personality and Lifestyle: She is a very active dog who loves to play fetch, loves to cuddle, loves bubbles, swimming, exercising, car rides, loves to jump, bark, protect and chew. She does not do well living with other dogs, cats, and other animals. She is a dominant dog and desires to be the only dog as she loves receiving all the ... (Read More)attention. She considers other animals in the home as either prey, toys, or threat when it comes to attention. This isn't as serious as it sounds, she just prefers being the only dog. She does play well with other dogs as I have taken her to doggy day-care plenty of times. She chases other small animals and does not like other energetic dogs that are bigger than her or are dominant. She is an awesome protector. Sadie prefers someone who is younger that is willing to work her in exercising daily, a training program or a high-active yet social lifestyle. Ideal Owners: 1) A young active single man or woman who exercises daily with no other pets willing to train her through becoming a more obedient dog. As well as putting time into her beyond training and also taking her along with them on trips, travel or everyday outings. Willing to continue caring for her vet visits and healthy food. 2) A young active couple who exercises daily with no other pets willing to train her through becoming a more obedient dog. As well as putting time into her beyond training and also taking her along with them on trips, travel or everyday outings. Willing to continue caring for her vet visits and healthy food. 3) A young to middle age active family of older kids (10+) who exercises daily with no other pets willing to train her through becoming a more obedient dog. As well as putting time into her beyond training and also taking her along with them on trips, travel or everyday outings. Willing to continue caring for her vet visits and healthy food. I love my dog but unfortunately at this time my lifestyle has changed and I cannot balance her needs with the needs of my other priorities. I am looking for someone who fits this 'ideal owner' description as I find it completely necessary to make sure she will be receiving what she desires with her new forever family. If you feel this is you, please feel free to contact me. Serious inquiries that meets this description only. Thank you for taking your time out of your day to read this and please if you could be so kind, share the word that this beautiful dog is looking for a home (3 here are additional pictures of Sadie (3 (please copy and paste the link in your address bar)https://www.facebook.com/LaVdaLoca47/media_set?set=a.1308943959187787.1073741836.100002165876520&type=3&pnref=story (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
