Hi, my name is Zach. I'm a friendly dog but I'm guessing you already figured that out by my picture. I was found wandering the streets. That life is not for me. I need a home where I'll be safe and sound. Most of all, I need a family. It doesn't matter if it's a one-person family or a ten-person family; as long as I'm loved. That's all any of us need. What about you? Do you need some love in your life?

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi, I'm Bella. A woman found me on her porch and couldn't keep me so I ended up at M'Shoogys. They've taken good care of me, and I'm grateful, but I really need to find a home. This is no place for a dog like me. I need a place to call my own with a soft bed where I can live a peaceful life. I'm up in age and I've slowed down quite a bit but I have a lot of love for a special someone with a big heart. Did I find you? Is that special someone you?

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-08-00538Danica (female)

Cocker Spaniel    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Approx. DOB: 06-18-08 Approx. Weight: 24 lbs. Adoption Fee: $250, includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Danica was surrendered at the shelter by a Vet clinic as an owner surrender. We were told that she was abandoned at vet hospital by her owners. Danica is a Cocker Spaniel and is 6 years old. Danica is in a Furry Kids' foster home with other dogs and she is having lots of fun. She instantly fit in the moment she walked through the door! She even earned the honor of sleeping on her foster Mom's bed the very first night, and every night since. Danica has the best personality and she is just the sweetest girl ever! ... (Read More) She is housebroken and crate trained, however she is no longer crated during the day while her foster Mom is at work. Danica was also recently groomed and the groomer said she was a dream! She said she was so well behaved, not what she normally expects from this breed. Besides all of her wonderful qualities she does have the common icky Cocker ears. She is currently on medication to get them healthy. Due to the state of her ears when she came to us we assumed she was deaf because she didn't respond to voices or noises. As her ear infections have been clearing up she is now able to hear! Danica will require a surgery, a Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) to open her ear canals and prevent further ear infections. This surgery is very expensive, but we would like to have it done before she is adopted. PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING FOR HER EAR SURGERY. . http://www.razoo.com/story/Please-Help-Danica?referral_code=share Danica has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. She has also had a dental cleaning and a fatty tumor removed, as well as a deep ear cleaning. If you are interested in adopting Danica, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. Rescue Me ID: 14-08-08-00525Bosley (male)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

DOB: 4/24/11, Approx. Weight: 20 Lbs. $175 adoption fee includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Bosley originally came to Furry Kids' as a puppy and was returned as a young adult. The family was worried that the high activity of young children in the household made him nervous and was causing him stress. We were told Bosley's mother was a Cocker Spaniel and we do not know what his father was, possibly Miniature Pinscher a Chihuahua, or a Terrier? Bosley is now in a foster home with many other dogs. He is curious and friendly and having fun! Bosley is housebroken and crate trained. He is very well behaved and fairly ... (Read More)active (especially outside). He does like to play fetch and does enjoy investigating in the back yard. He would do best with a fence to keep him safe and his nose in line! Bosley also loves to go on walks and does great on the leash! Bosley does growl at other dogs who approach his crate when he is eating, but that is not uncommon. His foster Mom said that when all dogs are getting treats there are no issues. Please no small children or highly active households for Bosley. Families with teenage children or older would be best for Bosley, another companion dog would make him happy as well, but not necessary. Bosley has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Bosley, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. Rescue Me ID: 14-04-28-00619Lena (female)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Approx. DOB 02/01/2008 Approx. Weight: 32 Lbs. Adoption Fee: $200, includes a two week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Lena (aka Nina) came to Furry Kids' when her owner passed away . We were told that Lena was a faithful and loving companion to her Mom, who also loved her very much and doted on her. Lena is now in a foster home and she has many other dogs of all sizes to play with. She does well with everyone but has become her foster Mom's shadow...her new nickname! Lena is a little shy at first when meeting new people but once she knows you are nice she warms right up. It will take Lena a little bit of time to adjust to a new ... (Read More)life and family but we have no doubts that she will adapt. Lena would do better in a calmer home and she does seem to prefer women to men, however she does not dislike men. Lena is housebroken and crate trained and is overall a very well behaved dog. She will bark if someone comes to the door but settles down as soon as the person enters. Lena is healthy, however she could lose a pound or two, but with regular exercise and watching that she doesn't overeat she should be just fine. We are guessing she may have had a few extra treats or possibly shared meals with her Mom in her previous home. Lena has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and had a dental cleaning. If you are interested in adopting Lena, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
