Rescue Me ID: 15-06-27-00166Bowie (male)

Cocker Spaniel Mix    Age: Adult

Bowie was adopted from a shelter when he was about 2 years old. We have no idea how he ended up in a shelter but his adoptive family ended up getting a divorce and wasn't able to take Bowie with them. He is a great dog and they just couldn't stand the thought of him being in a shelter so they asked us to take him. It was important to them that Bowie went to a foster home. Bowie is house trained, crate trained, good with everything he meets... cats, dogs, kids. He is a very laid back dog. He walks fine a leash too. You can't help but laugh when you look at Bowie. His tongue is too big for his mouth so it is always hanging out :-) ... (Read More)Age: 6 years adoption fee: $150 (Less)

Lucy is a sweetheart who loves other animals and lives with cats. She visits homes often and cats and dogs are never aggressive toward her because of her submissive behavior. She loves to cuddle 24/7 and visits nursing homes infrequently. When left alone she needs to be caged or gated in a kitchen area of some sort due to her anxiety she may pee on the floor. When I am home she has no problems and rings a bell at the back door or gores and stands by it to be let out. She eats blue buffalo duck and will need her teeth cleaned shortly. I would like her to go to a house where she has the ability to be held a lot and cuddled and without a ... (Read More)lot of hustle and bustle. I have health problems newly diagnosed and will be gone from home a lot for an unknown period of time possibly forever so that is the reason I am looking for a new home for Lucy..
