|Animal ID: MollyMolly (female)|
Everyone meet Molly!! She's a loveable cocker spaniel pulled from the shelter last week and just needed some kindness and serious grooming! So far we've seen she knows sit, paw (only her right one), and for the most part she is potty trained. She's doing well with my resident dogs but sometimes she growls when she see them rough house with each other. I think she has the potential to be very sweet and loving, but right now she's still timid and getting used to her new environment. Will you be the one to give Molly the tender, love and care she deserves? Adopt to adopt adorable Molly at adoptapitrescue.org under the adoptable tab. Molly's adoption fee is $200 Molly is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-01-31-00594Betsy (female)|
Betsy is a 13 year old, female, cocker spaniel. She is current on shots, has tested negative for heartworm, and will be spayed before adoption. Betsy is an old gal, but still full of life. She is still playful and ready to go. Betsy was picked up as a stray by our local shelter, and we just couldn't leave her in the shelter, so we rescued her. She was extremely matted and disgusting when we took her in. After a day at the groomers, she came out both looking and feeling so much better. She has some cataracts in her eyes, leaving her partially blind, and bad ear infection, leaving her partially deaf, but you would never notice by the way she acts. Neither her age nor her ailments slow this girl down and she is longing for a family to call her own. A big comfy bed, someone to love her and cuddle with her, and she will be a happy baby. If interested, please contact us for an application. Our rescue does not go by a first come, first serve basis. We process the applications that come in, and choose the best home for each dog. However, we also do not hold dogs. They are ready to be adopted now. After a dog is adopted, we can then rescue another dog in need. Thank you for choosing a rescue dog. (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
