Buddy is a 7 year old Cocker that needs a new family. He is playful, likes to play ball. Trustworthy in the home. Buddy likes attention and is affectionate. He would probably do best with older kids although he has lived with them all his life. He is ok with other dogs when properly introduced. Fully vetted. PLEASE go to our website: www.safehavenpa.org for information on our adoption process and our rescue. FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION IS THE FIRST STEP IN OUR ADOPTION PROCESS. Additional information on our rescue is located on the Petfinder home page. Our adoption fee is $275.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-02-15-00251Riley (female)|
Riley is a sweet sweet girl - if you are an adult. She isn't good with other dogs and isn't good with young children under 3 years old. We rescued her almost 4 years ago and she has been awesome. Unfortunately things in our lives have changed and we can no longer give her the home she deserves. She gets 3 walks a day - even this time of year. She must go to a good home.....

|Rescue Me ID: 15-02-11-00503Trusty (male)|
Trusty is a loving typical American cocker spaniel. He wants to be with you and next to your all the time. He will provide a big hug when you're down. He will leap and spin when you boogey with him. Trusty is housebroken. He loves to walk on the leash and has been to basic obedience class and some fancy clicker stuff that he loved and was good at. He needs an active person who is home a lot. He will be your honey.

Buddy's Info... I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with cats. Buddy's Story... Buddy is a 14 year old cocker spaniel but don't let that number fool you! Buddy still has plenty of pep in his step! He is fully potty trained and can go a full 8 hours without any accidents. He enjoys playing and going for walks - his foster family reports that he is always on the go and looking for some action. He is a gentleman on the leash. He loooves food and was quite overweight when coming to PK. Buddy's foster family is slowly helping him get his slender figure back. Buddy will tolerate other dogs and possibly would do better with a female but he will chase cats. Health wise, other than his weight, he has a little bit of arthritis and came with some mild skin issues. Buddy doesn't hear very well but he still does have hearing. We think that's pretty good for being 14! (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
