Animal ID: LadyLady (female)

Cocker Spaniel    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Available after May 7. Lady is such a sweetie! She's easy natured. Her owner surrendered her to a shelter. We can't understand why. She is a gem! Arrived freshly groomed but turned in as a 'stray'. We suspect maybe she belonged to an elderly person who overfed her table food and has since passed, then the family didn't want her and dumped her. It would explain her love of people food. She's great with other dogs and fine with cats. Housebroken, goes to the door when she needs to go out. No signs of food/toy aggression to date. Her foster mom has taken her on car rides to the vet while in a crate and she's done well. Walks well on leash. ... (Read More)Doesn't jump up to greet. Lady is about 5 years old and currently overweight at around 45 lb. Spayed, vaccinated, 4DX tested negative. Cocker Spaniel    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Cody is a Cocker Spaniel male who is around 10 years of age. His previous owner of 10 years was no longer able to take care of him, so he is with us. Unfortunately, he does not like our cat and it is super sad to see him have such difficulty going up our 3 flights of stairs. So, we are hoping to find a loving home of no cats and a one floor home for him to be much happier in. He is EXTREMELY loving and calm, LOVES walks, car rides and parks. Stays close by- NEVER runs away! If interested, please feel free to email or call this special older one!
