|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-24-00484Addie Mae (female)|
Description: Addie Mae is a year old and she weighs a little over 14 lbs. She looks like a cross between a Havanese and a terrier. She is short legged and long in length. She is a low shedding dog. Not bad though. She is stunningly beautiful. Personality and Behavior: Addie is very sweet and loving with people. She loves to give you kisses and sit on your lap. She is playful like a puppy, loves her toys and is good at walking. She has not had an accident in the house. She will be happiest as an only dog getting full attention from her owners. She will need an experienced owner to help her with her doggie socialization. She will guard her food and toys around other dogs. Children older than 12 who have prior dog experience will be ok. Fee and Policy: fee includes her spay, vaccinations, heart worm test, microchip, health certificate, grooming, flea treatment, transportation, vet checked in CA and Seattle, collar and leash and 30 days of health insurance. $395 *We are unable to do out of state adoptions. A home safety check is required. An application can be found on our website or email us for one. We are in the matching making stage of her rescue, but by adopting her you allow us to save another at risk dog. All of our dogs are out of danger and are in foster homes. First you complete the application, then we set up meeting times. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank You! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-03-20-00589Marty (male)|
Hi! My name is: Marty I am a: Male PBGV I am about 5 years old My Adoption Fee is: $250.00 My History: Marty came to Valhalla Rescue from the Olympic Animal Shelter in Forks. We don't know why Marty was sent to OAS, but we know he was likely living in very poor conditions while he was there. Marty has done really well while at our rescue - he is learning to trust people and be comfortable in his surroundings. In April 2014, Marty took second place at the NW Grooming Show Rescue Round Up! My Health: Marty is up to date on his vaccines, is neutered and has been micro chipped. The best home for me would be: Marty absolutely LOVES attention and really enjoys going on walks. He is house and enjoys being with his people. Unfortunately, and probably due to the time he spent hungry and wondering when he might get his next meal at OAS, Marty is food possessive/aggressive and needs to be the only dog in the home.Marty needs a strong, experienced owner that won't let him run the show. Do you want to meet Marty? He would love to meet you! All our dogs are in foster homes so if you would like to meet Marty in person, an approved application must be on file prior to setting up a meeting. You can fill out our online application at, www.valhallarescue.org. It is on the 'adoption page' about half way down. If, for whatever reason, you can't access our online application please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and request one be emailed to you. Once our Adoption Coordinator receives your application, we will contact you. About Valhalla Rescue: We are a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all our free hours to our dogs and finding a good match for you, so please be patient with them and our process. THANK YOU FOR SAVING THE LIFE OF A RESCUE DOG (Less)

Cocker Spaniel Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The American Cocker Spaniel is a sociable, sunny, affectionate breed. Cocker Spaniels are good gun dogs but are especially suited to be family pets. Cockers need human companionship, affection, and attention. Most Cocker Spaniels are wonderful around children. Cockers are usually easy to train but can be difficult to housebreak. Cockers are energetic and need lots of exercise, but can adapt well to an apartment or a home with a small yard.
