I am a chocolate male ShihTzu /Cocker Spaniel /Heinz 57 puppy and 2 months old (I was born on October 24, 2017). My adoption fee is $695. I am a very happy boy, super smart and sweet. I love play chase with other dogs. I am good sleeper, a good eater, and love to make my people smile. I would prefer to have a home with another dog that likes to play, or a home that could give me lots of love and attention . Daily walks and play-time is important to keep me entertained and engaged. As I am a puppy, training classes will be required. ... (Read More)This will create a bond for us, and also ensure that I have manners to make you proud. I will require a fully fenced yard so that I do not run away. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. I am being fostered with dogs my size, and would love a home that has a dog that needs a friend, however, I would also be happy as an only dog. I will need a grain-free diet to keep me healthy and my coat beautiful. I have a soft smooth coat that is easy to take care of. I am a 'wash and wear' dog. Kanga is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Kanga should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $695. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-05-00406Brodie (male)

Cocker Spaniel    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Seizures

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Brodie is friendly and playful with everyone, children and adults, that he meets or introduced to. He is very protective of Owners property and will bite if not introduced. He is very loveable and likes to play with the ball and just cuddle up to you. He has seizures rather frequently. Sometimes once a day, and sometimes he will go a week or so without one. We try not to give him table food. It seems that when he gets bread or pizza dropped by the grandkids, he has a seizure soon afterwards as well as other human food. He needs to be loved and cared for properly especially in his senior age.
